Diana is a registered professional planner with 25 years of experience and is the Principal of Veracity Planning Solutions Inc. Her career has focused on land use planning and development, public policy, governance and inter-jurisdictional negotiations. Having worked for all three levels of Government in Canada as well as internationally, Diana has gained a reputation as being a trusted advisor who brings a collaborative and facilitative approach to any project team. Her successful innovative solutions and attention to detail allow her to meet project objectives in a timely manner.
During her career, Diana has headed multi-disciplinary teams working on complex regional, rural and urban development projects, included large scale commercial, residential and industrial developments. She has been involved with and written numerous statutory planning documents which have included extensive consultation and facilitation with affected stakeholder groups, government officials and the community. A number of these projects have received awards and recognition for their contribution in the advancement of excellence in planning.
Diana is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in Regional and Urban Development and has obtained leadership certificates from the University of Regina and Queens University and has co-authored the curriculum for the University of Alberta’s Rural Land Use Planning course.

Diana served two terms as Senator for the University of Regina representing the Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association. Currently, she serves as a Board of Director for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Regina Branch.

Fred is a Registered Professional Planner and Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners. Over his 31 years with the City of Regina his focus was on zoning and land use analysis, development review, plan preparation, and opportunities for process improvement. Fred has earned a reputation as a respected expert and advisor on community development who’s approach is collaborative, responsive, and solution focused.
During his career Fred managed numerous development projects including major residential and commercial developments, concept plans, discretionary use developments, infill developments, neighbourhood and area plans and was the project manager of the Regina Downtown Neighbourhood Plan. This work required sound knowledge of planning process and engagement with various community organizations, residents, development industry, internal departments and other levels of government to be successful.
Fred spent the last 12 years of his career as a senior leader with the City of Regina including Manager of Current Planning and Director of Planning and Development Services. In these roles, and given his extensive knowledge of planning process, he provided leadership in working with internal and external stakeholders to identify process impediments and implement positive process improvements with focus on efficiency, consistency, predictability, and clarity.
Fred is a graduate of the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Arts Advanced Degree in Geography and the City Program, Certificate of Urban Design from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. He also obtained a Certificate in Leadership Development from the University of Regina.
In his leisure time Fred is an avid curler and golfer.
